Yup, this book correctly describes high school life. Everything is always a huge deal and there is always somebody that is "The One". The characters were realistic and the storyline is also something that I feel happened with a friend of mine in high school. In the book Maria falls for Jake, her best friend's brother. What follows is the story of them trying to hide it from her best friend and the school. Miscommunications and bad situations keep trying to keep the happy couple apart, but love always conquers all in sappy books like this one, the question is how does it finally all work out. I guess it was good just not for me
But this would be a perfect book for people who love "love stories"
This book isn't even worth one star!!
It's terrible. Its more of an outline for a story then an actual book. There are errors and inconsistencies, wrong name written at one time and there's no chemistry between the MC's.
I don't know how old the author is but I don't imagine she's older then 12/13 when they equate being single with loneliness.
Save your money and skip this dreadful book.
